Interesting facts about me

Within every adversity lies a slumbering possibility. ~ Robert H. Schuller
I am still waiting on that one...the slumbering possibility part...

Mothership express: Being a MOM is the best job I have, or ever will have, of that I am sure! Have loved every minute of it, even when it's the toughest. There is nothing that gives me greater joy than all children (including my own most of the time...image)

  • Humor feeds my soul.
  • Empathetic - is there much better to life than lending an ear or helping another?
  • Help, I'm flawed. Do not trust anyone, sorry - no offense - that includes myself!
  • Perfectionism NOT 101: Dramatically determined and opinionated.
  • I'm not such an ASS, really! I say what I mean and mean what I say though sometimes too quickly...forgive me in advance pretty please with sugar on top?
  • Greatest ally or worst enemy: you help decide.
  • Unpredictable: All bullets change at any given moment without notice! Gotcha!image

Ohhhhh! I heart key lime pie! Thanks for the thought though.
Sorry you can't hook up with your old friend, but it's nice he has somebody to spend it with. I think it's going to be lousy out tomorrow, so cook, cuddle up and enjoy some good books, movies, music or whatever cheers you up. It is TRULY just another day. I will be thinking of you! :)

Cool... I like Live Dead and Europe 72, but they are both live obviously so I think studio only stuff I might have to go with...Workingman's Dead. I saw many shows but the standouts were Boston Garden in spring of 81 and Rochester War Memorial 11/5/77 which later became Dicks Picks #34. I love the classic Barton Hall (Cornell) show from May 1977 but I was not there. Saw many great shows in Boston at the old Gahhhden

Whats your favorite Dead show or Cd/LP?

    Reply from Mothership:

    Hey Sparka,

You're killing me...quite hard to answer that question from both the "favorite" and memory standpoint!

If I had to pick: the Album would be Mars Hotel (although I have a tendency to listen more to the 2 album set of Greatest Hits; What a Long Strange Trip It's Been.

Favorite show(s): With a mature, fond, and mostly sober memory it would be Foxboro (aka Gillette now) Stadium which I thought was July 3, 1990 but I don't think I have the date right.

The two others, out of MANY, that have some sort hazy memory & meaning to me are Saratoga Springs, NY and one of the shows at the Boston Garden. Many more & always fun. Good music and people watching! I will have to see if I still have the stubs!
